Carling

Carling's history stretches back to 1818 when a Yorkshire farmer by the name of Thomas Carling emigrated to London, Canada. He took up brewing ale, which proved popular with the locals and in 1840 took up brewing full-time, selling his beer on the streets from a wheelbarrow.

Carling was first exported to the UK in the 1950s and by the early 1980s had already grown to become the UK's most popular beer brand.
