Cragganmore

Cragganmore distillery was established in 1869, by "Big" John Smith, the most experienced distiller of his time having managed the Macallan, Glenlivet and Wishaw distilleries. Naming it after the mountain it sits beside, the distillery was built to take advantage of the plentiful spring water and railway line nearby, allowing ease of access to Scottish barley.

Cragganmore has often produced whisky used by whisky blenders, and has been rated the finest malt for blending in all of Speyside.
