Dom Perignon

Dom Perignon is one of Champagne's most famous and celebrated brands today. It was one of the very first prestige cuvees of Champagne, introduced in the 1930's. Dom Perignon is based on a core of five grand cru villages of pinot noir and four of chardonnay, in which the company is privileged to have access to huge resources.

Dom Perignon was the Benedictine cellar master at the Abbey of Hautvillers in the late 17th century. Dubbed the father of Champagne. The wine one could say is certainly the daddy of prestige champagne cuvees. The DP style is composed of a tension between the chardonnay and pinot noir, floral aromas, a creamy mid-palate, and finesse throughout.
