Glengoyne

Glengoyne Distillery's history dates back to the 1820s, when George Connell began distilling in secret at the Burnfoot Farm, hidden away in a miniature glen. He got his license to distil in 1833, granting him permission to distil at ""Glenguin of Burnfoot"", establishing the distillery proper.

The distillery has been noted throughout the years for its dedication to maturing its whiskies in sherry casks, only ever using unpeated malts, and to patiently distil using the slowest stills in Scotland imparting bold, complex flavours. These standards, the distillery upholds to this day.
