Established in 1995, Planeta is not one winery, but a collection of six different estates. Each estate has its own specific research and development project, and together they cover 363 hectares of vineyards across Sicily.
Planeta look as much to the past as to the future. In the creation of their wines, they draw on seventeen generations of wine production going back to the 16th century, a long and rich agricultural tradition. Even more important though, is their commitment to environmental sustainability; conserving the landscape and having the utmost respect for their territories so that future generations may appreciate them. |
